DIOR - Starts in Harrods ends all over the World

Hi, I just found this amazing new about the more recent collaboration done by Maison DIOR with Harrods, it will start this saturday, 16th march, in London, but until the 14th april this exhibition will conquer the world, 33 windows with vintage photos of the brand, sketches, 40 high-fashion miniature dresses, and one exhibition of some of the best DIOR dresses wear by Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson and Marion Cotillard. But to spicy a little more this exhibition, one limited edition DIOR accessories collection, done exclusively for this occasion, will be sold, this collection is inspired by the famous London tartan tale, cup cakes ....

Olá, acabei de descobrir esta nova colaboração feita pela Maison DIOR com o grande armazém londrino Harrods, começa este sábado, 16 de março,  a exposição no Harrods em Londres, e acaba dia 14 de abril espalhada pelo mundo inteiro, com 33 montras de pura moda onde as fotografias vintage da marca, esboços, miniaturas de vestidos de alta costura, e alguns dos melhores vestidos DIOR utilizados,  nomeadamente por Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson and Marion Cotillard vão estar em exibição. Mas melhor que tudo, será apresentada uma coleção de acessórios exclusiva e em edição limitada para este grande evento, a coleção foi inspirada no espirito tradicional da Gran-Bretanha, tartan tale sempre presente, cupcakes, cabines telefonicas...

Salut, j'ai découvert cette nouvelle collaboration entre la Maison DIOR et Harrods, les grandes galleries de Londres, c'est déjà se samedi 16 mars, que l'exposition sera ouverte jusque au 14 avril ou elle sera déjà partout dans le monde, 33 vitrines de pure mode, des photos vintage de la marque, des croquis et des miniatures de quelques unes des plus belles robes de la marque et en plus des robes comme celles de Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson et Marion Cotillard seront en exposition. Mais pour être encore mieux Dior a lancé une collection d'accessoires en temps limitée, trés inspiré par l'esprit traditionnelle de  la Grande-Bretagne, le "tartan tale " est donc l'élèment principale, accompagné de cabines de télèphone et de cupcakes...

The Hand-Felted Collection by ANITA HIRLEKAR

Anita Hirlekar is an Icelandic designer based in London. Fascinated by traditional craft techniques, Anita´s work plays with bold use of colour and texture with strong focus on handcraft. Artistic inspiration allows Anita to develop thoughtful and modern collections with attention to hand-crafted fabrics and organic elegant lines. Anita has gained experience from Christian Dior Couture and Diane Von Furstenberg.

Frequenting art galleries in New York and London Anita Hirlekar finds inspiration in the rawness and abstract art to create fashion collections with a similar impact. Researching abstract paintings from Rothko and Richter along with photographs from Icelandic nature, she is interested in the composition of color and the use of texture. By using a traditional hand felting technique Anita creates modern statement garments reminiscent of paintings.
